One9 travel centers missing…
Copilot seems to know about a few One9 travel centers, but could we get the entire locations database added please. One9 is part of the Pilot/Flying-J network in case anyone’s unfamiliar with them. Here’s an example of one Copilot doesn’t know about (I’ll update this with more as I come across them): 2101 US 49, Brinkley, AR 72021

I’ve been using CoPilot for quite a few years now (6+?) and have found it very reliable for guiding me to my destinations when operating heavy trucks. I previously had tried a few hardware/software packages from big names, like a Rand McNally tablet, and the CoPilot app simply blows them away! No special hardware needed as the app and its maps install on your phone and/or tablet! With the maps being stored on your device you needn’t have any concerns if you’re driving through a remote area where you have absolutely zero cell coverage! I know many truck drivers who just use Apple Maps or google maps and I’ve told all of them about CoPilot and how it can save your butt since it factors in the height, width, weight, and other factors of your rig (you can use one of multiple stock vehicle profiles or easily create one for your specific rig). If instead you run with a gps app meant for a commuter car then it will happily guide your 13’6” truck straight into a 10’ clearance rail bridge and you’ll be none the wiser until you’re wrecked or having to find a way to back up and turn around in traffic. Copilot only routes you on roads where you actually fit and where your vehicle is legal! You can even set it up to avoid mountains so you don’t find yourself driving in low-range 2nd gear at a crawl up on an interstate only to be later relying on your Jake brake and worn brake shoes to hold you back on a 8% down grade! Similarly you can tell the app which types of roads you prefer and which types you want to avoid. I absolutely recommend CoPilot to all professional drivers, and to others who have special routing/driving requirements! …don’t want to run your family RV under too short a clearance anymore than you would a mobile crane! If your career is behind a wheel then get this program, it’s not free but it is 100% worth every penny!

I decided to try out this GPS on the recommendation from a FB group for my trip back from NC to Philadelphia especially because of the fact that the 695 bridge is now out so I needed an alternative route around Baltimore to avoid the tunnels. Of all the alternatives that could have been provided to me, this app decided the best route would be to drive through the middle of downtown Baltimore. So I had to navigate a 40ft diesel pusher pulling a Jeep through the narrow and unmaintained roads of Baltimore’ slums adding an extra hour to my trip because that was the best this app could come up with. Needless to say I will not be using this ever again as my trust in it is now destroyed. Use with extreme caution.

Purchased the premium and log in with my account on a diffent device. The app accepts my log in but does not allow me to use the premium feature. App advises to purchase on each device that I use with. My account. What is the purpose. Furthermore, the device does not recognize a lot of the addresses that I have tried to input.

This app is ok. Especially if you have no service. It lacks CarPlay. That kills a higher rating.

Despite having been recently updated as of 2/22/24 the maps are horribly outdated. If you don’t have some kind of idea of the area you’re driving in this app will get you i to serious trouble with a big truck. About a decade ago when I first downloaded this app it was fine, not perfect but fine. Nowadays it is not much better than using Google Maps and sometimes its worse. Traffic and road closures/openings are frequently wrong. Do not waste your time with this app.

It used to be pretty bad but I think it’s better now. Rarely have any issues with is but occasionally cross reference Google. Just use some common sense
