I have tried various apps (and internet sites) for learning more about chest X-ray interpretation and this app is amazingly good. It has great image quality and you can adjust the images both in size (i.e. zooming) and manipulate the viewing parameters as if using isite or PACs system. The included images are plentiful, well selected and presented. I love being able to toggle the markers on and off (i.e. the makers that highlight the findings). This is an excellent app for those new at reading chest X-rays or for those that want to enhance what the learned in training.

This is a very good application going over the basics of chest radiograph production, a proper approach to analyzing and interpreting a radiograph and explanation of some lung, mediastinal pathologies. As well as emphasizing other pathologies that should be mentioned on the radiograph but are not lung or mediastinal pathologies, e.g. Multiple Myeloma. Good basics application. Great images. Good explanations. Differential diagnoses. Recommend this to anyone in the medical field or just starting out in radiology residency.
