The Trulia app is my absolute go to with home searches, but I’m in a serious home search now and unfortunately there’s a bug that miscalculates the location of the property. I mapped a location that I though was 39 minutes from my husbands job and it was like 1 hr & 7 mins. This has happened multiple times and it’s just a bit of a downer when you’re really excited about a house and find out that it’s actually on the other side of town. I will say that when it works properly the feature is great!

People looking for places to rent don’t need their time wasted but that’s exactly what this app does, by ignoring user input. If you check “hide home” they still show it to you, adding more clutter for you to scroll through. Say you set your search to “small dog” and they’ll continue to give you results that don’t allow pets! And then, they show you spots that are “off market” if that is somehow relevant! Terrible

I’ve never had issues with the filters but now can’t filter down to any desired parameters. You can’t select only look at single family homes. Oh, well. Sign of the times…

I kept trying to change the filters to find more suitable rentals. Every time I go to change it to All for the home type, there’s no way to back out to the original filter settings. I basically cannot make my own filter to search for
