Great and affordable robot vacuum
I have owned this vacuum for several years and have generally been very pleased with its performance. However, there is one persistent issue that has not been resolved: the room functionality is ineffective. Despite setting up designated "rooms" within the app, the robot disregards these boundaries and cleans areas at random. I have even consulted customer support and demonstrated the problem via video chat, only to be told that this is simply how the device operates. While it performs adequately in cleaning indiscriminately—suitable for about 90% of my needs—there are occasions when I need targeted cleaning in specific areas, and unfortunately, this vacuum fails to meet that requirement.

I have had this machine I call Circle since the Covid lock down. In the almost four years the Circle has done a super job cleaning all the dog hair and things from my tile and carpeted floor. It automatically makes a map of my house and does every room or just the room I ask for. I even ordered a second one for my son to use in his house. We all love our Shark Circle.

Sure wish the schedule was more flexible. Why can’t I set separate schedules for individual rooms so the foyer gets cleaned 4times as often. Manually is too much trouble…otherwise it works pretty well. Would be nice if they could figure out how to reconnect to the bot without having to delete maps and start over with a new bot. Some things aren’t intuitive…old people can’t figure it out.

I find that the shark does a great job on my floors. It whisks up any loose dog hair that may be along corners as well as the middle of the floor. I have a rough collie so I get a lot of hair, and the area rugs (in the kitchen for example) end up with strands of hair on them. Even when I use the max option, it still leaves dog here behind. I also have a shark upright that I use for that rug that can be vacuumed up in a few minutes. It seems to work better than the remote.
