Disabled for no reason
I’ve been using this app for probably 5 years with no issue and have always had nothing but positive things to say about it to family and friends. Today, I open the app and find out my account is disabled. Not only have i lost my points saved up, I can’t talk to any one to help me. It says use the chat bot which does nothing.
Bans with out explanation and will NOT pay out!
I’ve been using this app for over 6 months. I’ve cashed out a couple of times. This last time I’ve been saving up to take my autistic daughter on a vacation. I’ve been doing the surveys religiously for a month. I had over $75 I could cash out. I had issues logging on via Facebook so I had to change my password. The next thing I know, I can’t log in, I’m banned and I’m told I’ve violated the terms and conditions. But. How? I’ve already cashed out a few times. I’ve had them pick me for a 1 on 1 interview, which I went to, and was paid out via gift card. So very confused, I find on their website than I can appeal it, I just have to use the chatbot. Awesome, right?! No. Wrong. It sent me in a loop over and over again telling me I can appeal it via chat bot who sends me back to the same website. Plan B. Contact us on the website. I’ll send an e-mail! Nope. There’s no website listed! Plan C I guess. Facebook. Facebook always has the answer! Emailed them. They tell me that they can do. absolutely nothing. Nor can they tell me why! Their terms and conditions literally state that they can do whatever they want, whenever they want, to whomever they want and not give a reason nor pay out the rewards with out any notice. Crowdtap. You should be ashamed of yourselves. If you’re banning someone at least give them a reason why, and an opportunity to explain why or correct the mistake. You’ve already sold my information, you’ve already made the money from me. Shame on me for signing up friends and family for something that I thought could help them. We’re not doing this because we’re rich, I assure you….I was trying to take my daughter on a vacation…. I’d give less than a 1 star if I could!
Unjust ban
This app banned me a day after downloading for absolutely no reason even though I was very careful with my responses and provided quality answers. I contacted support and they would not do anything about it. I do not recommend this app.
Don’t waste your time
I downloaded, signed up with my Apple ID, answered some basic questions before they disabled my account when I entered my age. Support is completely useless and non existent. What a waste of time.
Discouraging
I really enjoy crowdtap. And it really helped me out in many ways. But today felt really discouraging. I went through the whole process of getting on a focus group and I was chosen all to be left in the lobby and only given $20 for what could have been potentially been $100 focus group. That can be very discouraging! Especially when that money can be used for something important. If you’re not gonna choose the person, please don’t allow them to think so.
Please add “Refresh” feature
Once I have taken all available surveys, it generally keeps showing me that there are no more available after I’ve exhausted all the ones available. After a day or two of this, I have found that if I close out/shut down the app completely and restart it, then it often will show new surveys again. Can you please add a refresh option so we can refresh surveys within the app in case any new ones appear rather than having to completely close out the app and restart it to get new ones to show up. Thank you. Otherwise I’m thinking no new surveys are available when there actually are new ones. It just doesn’t update/refresh on its own.

Been doing the surveys for a couple years. Everything was fine. When I recently had to re-sign in to my account, I couldn’t remember my password, so I reset it. When I tried to sign in with new password, I got locked out. Been trying to chat with the bot Tappy to get it straightened out. But get no resolution. The dots on Tappy’s end just keep moving. No answer. And the kicker is I have $25 in my rewards account that I can’t get now. There is no phone number or email to contact anyone either. What a joke and a huge waste of my time. UPDATE: crowdtap emailed me and said contact their customer support via email, which I did, and have yet to hear from them about my issue or even correct the issue.
