Newest update is an eyesore

Literally, it makes my eyes hurt. It had a smooth design. I mostly use it for sleep tracking and that is a total ugly mess to look at and understand now. We should have a choice to use a more accessibility friendly option.

New App Appearance

The new way to show sleep is awful and difficult to read. Consider changing it back. It was much easier to access. Overall, app is fine. Occasionally takes a while to sync with the watch, but does its job.

Google ruined FitBit!

I’ve been using a Fitbit device for over 10 years and I regret buying a new versa for for Christmas two years ago! if I had known that Google was buying them out and getting rid of anything useful in the more expensive newer version of the versa, I would’ve gone with a Apple iWatch got the money! you can’t use any useful apps that you could use on the original versa or the versa 2 and even the versa light, no Spotify, no calendars there’s literally nothing they claim you can use Google maps and Google pay which is not sure because I can’t get it on my versa 4 watch, my calls never go through even if my phone is in my pocket,I rarely get notifications, and I’m lucky if I get a sleep blog, which was never an issue before Google took over and never even happened on my versa 2…I could even use Spotify on the older version! and anyone with sensitive skin beware because they’re rubber, latex wristbands, scarred my wrist from the rubbing I had to go on some random website to find a fake leather watchband in order to wear this thing …ABSOLUTE WASTE OF $249 on sale for Christmas at the time purchased 🙄

Where did all the info go?

15 April 2024 Update: even less info now for sleep. The “benchmark” section used to show a % range and the 30-day personal average also used to show a %. Now it’s just a gray bar and a black dot, respectively, on a line without any exact information. How is this useful? Who cares? I used to love this app. It was easy to find and review all of my metrics, which I used to do every night. Now, everything is the same bland color so I often scroll past what I’m looking for, and much less information is provided. Why can I no longer see my heart rate activity when I click on an individual workout? This is critical information for me. Unfortunately the app updates have severely impacted the utility of my Fitbit. I now go days without checking the app and I am no longer concerned about making sure I’m wearing the device and that it’s charged. I will be getting a device from a different company once my current Fitbit dies.

Synch still a problem.

Won’t synch well with Sense 2 watch. Worse after the firmware in the watch was recently upgraded.

Stone Age

Since when are apps in black and white. The new sleep screen is awful to look at and difficult to decipher. Yesterday I could look at my sleep pattern for a second and see how my sleep was. Now I just look at it dumbfounded. How is this possibly better?

Another worthless update

The most recent update (4.15) has made the sleep tracker worthless. It’s much harder to read and not user friendly. When my device dies, I’ll definitely be exploring other fitness tracker that hopefully make less changes.
