Update #3 Lisa AI has been a fun tool to source images for different art references and be able to stack concepts. However, since the latest update, it’s gone to the standard money grabbing as seen elsewhere. Why? I ask the developers, why? I paid for a subscription, and now I have to monitor my coin usage. Assuming that you can restore my subscription in the first place. (Email already sent) I can and have spent hours on this app simply due to its ease of use. And now you punish me for using your app? I get the financial aspect of supporting your system, but better isn’t always best. In fact, if you removed the “constant updates”, left other apps for the quiche styles, stuck to a system that worked, a price point that didn’t involve coins, AND worked on optimization for faster results, your product wouldn’t garnish so many issues and critiques. It’s so simple and I hurt for you. You're digging a hole underneath you for another developer to see your flaws, read the public reviews, and realize… they can do better than you. I’ve now since cancelled my subscription due to the fact you can’t structurally seem to get a solid system in place. I hope the issues are fixed later on, but for now, I can’t contribute anymore to this. Update #2 I have been using Lisa Ai for almost a year now, and to see multiple iterations and updates, these are my thoughts. Lisa Ai used to be a limited but semi powerful Ai generative app. From iterations where mature content and terminology was allowed, then blocked, then allowed, and now… ignored? It also had quite a feature where styles actually worked. Keep in mind, after every version update I have perused each “style” they offer using the same prompts, and, in the earlier versions, worked flawlessly. Then for some strange reason, they switched the Ai generative sourcing to something that “tries to be realistic”. I don’t know the specific alteration, but I would speculate some concept of Stable Diffusion. Almost. Everything. Looks. The. Same. If styles are offered in the text to image generator, then there should be a clear and concise difference. (Example: 3D Render, cinematic, photo, and realistic has barely any visual difference.) The features of the image generation are well received for different image formats, and the image fidelity is good. However, there seems to be a complexity that has been introduced to the text-to-image generation in that specifics are ignored? Explicit content is oddly ignored too as well as posing prompts. The UI is superb. Usability is clear and concise on what each option does, but in past experiences, the more you “upvote” the image, the more accurate your description becomes. Now? The rating system is hidden in a multi step process. Does that mean it doesn’t work? Cause… there’s zero Ai learning happening from what I can see. The buttons to regenerate an image are delayed by a few seconds after each generation. Lisa Ai’s development team seems to be constantly tailoring it’s app to user experience. Good on them! This is an app that isn’t forgotten and isn’t a money grab. However, it doesn’t seem like the team can settle on a experience that is, at its core, a solid foundation. Instead, it’s constantly evolving in a confusing state. My favorite version so far was 2 versions ago. However, I’ve tested it and going back to that version will prove to be useless as the generative sourcing is still what they currently have access to and not what it used to be. I’ve paid for this app and will continue to, but updates shouldn’t change the entirety of your system. They should fix small quirks.
