Clunky
For some reason the option to save a jpg to photos instead of files isn’t working and it’s flipping infuriating. I’ve looked it up and it seems like some weird, clunky “feature” and very confusing to fix/work around… why? Why are such simple things so complicated? This is a basic function.
Unable to Print!
Update: The app is still completely useless. Every attempt to print defaults to a 4x6 print size. And switching back to letter in the print pop-up ruins document formatting. Winter 2023: The well-documented printing bug remains unfixed since Affinity Publisher 2 launched in November 2022. Directly printing from the menu resizes the document uncontrollably every time. The only way to print remains: Export - Share - PDF - Print.

Again
Saw it. Downloaded it. Tried it. For an hour. Deleted it as i did with all affinity products.
Incredibly frustrating
This clearly wasn’t designed to actually be functional on an iPad. This is one of the most frustrating, nonfunctional apps I’ve ever dealt with. I seriously regret my purchase.
arabic support please 🌹
im waiting arabic support for along time thank you for all time spending to develop this app Al-Ani Yasir best wishes
Major glitches
In the long run I think Publisher will be a great iPad app but at present (October 29, 2023) it still has major bugs that were being discussed in tutorial videos a year ago. 1. I get the standard iPad keyboard on my screen instead of the switchable Affinity keyboard. What should be there, above the numbers, is a a set of menu options, such as a pair of scissors and an icon for toggling between keyboards (the other has options specific to Publisher—inserting special characters, maths, inserting page breaks, and so on). I once managed to access that menu keyboard (no idea how) but couldn't get back to the QWERTY keyboard until I reinstalled the app. 2. The app still struggles with cloud services on the iPad. I have not had that problem with other apps. 3. Support staff are deeply hidden, nearly inaccessible. They must be Top Secret. Because I have severe neuropathy I don't find it easy to work with any interface. That's not a problem with the app but it does predispose me to being impatient with bugs and glitches.…I think the app has so much potential and is already significantly ahead of Adobe's mobile apps, I'm not inclined to give up. It's definitely a viable alternative to InDesign.
Bug fixes and stability improvements.
