I found that I enjoy shooting zombies more than shooting soldiers, on an xbox where gun games control better. On an iphone the zombies formula needs to be different, but fighting zombies with plants as a puzzle game does not give the same adrenaline rush. This game however has the most important aspects of a zombie game; running from hordes, shooting through a crowd, and doing it back to back with another player. Think of the game Streets of Rage but with zombies. THE ONLY BAD THING is that the zombies dont come from the edge of the screen to surround you, they are allowed to sprout out of the ground instantly at any spot at any moment with no warning and with no reason. They can basically appear on top of you, and when a zombie has you, there is no where to move. This is completely unfair, is the reason I cant beat the game, is the main reason I die, and I thing is the only thing about this game that needs to be reworked.

This has to be the best app on the App Store!! It’s fun and killing zombies is very satisfying, but I do feel it deserves an update. You guys should add online multiplayer. It would be cool even if you released it on consoles and pc! New weapons would be cool too

I’ve been playing this game off and on for around 6 years now… so take my review with a few grains of rose-tinted glasses. This game is simple to understand, but fun to learn the mechanics and different loadout strats. This game is now 13 years old (released in 2011 for iOS) which makes a lot of sense when you play. The only cons I see are: - REALLY heats up my phone. Like no other game or app does. Also destroys batter life. - there’s a volume bug where if you are listening to something when you open the app, it gets reduced by ~40%. You can turn up the volume on your phone to help fix it, but the mac volume is also decreased. - lastly the co-op works quite well, but can occasionally drop out. Overall I love this game. I have a lot of nostalgia from playing it as a kid so it’s nice the app is still available. I’d love some new updates but a small developer can only do so much. Cheers for the great memories!

• Multiplayer will now connect to closest master server by ping, which should greatly improve latency for players outside the US. • Multiplayer can again be played with random players - choose "public game" to match with other random players • Added manual upload/download for iCloud for when automatic syncing is unreliable. This can be found in the options menu, and requires iCloud Drive to be enabled.
