I don’t like this new version of the game. Is there a way to go back to the simpler game. These words are not familiar words. I always enjoyed this simple game of Whirly word and somehow it updated to words that are not even words to me thanks

This game is fun and helps build your vocabulary but there are far too many non-English words included. This is supposed to be a English language game, but it has many non-English words, mainly from parts of Asia. It also includes a large number of medical terms that are unlikely to be encountered outside of medical texts. Also, it includes some abbreviations, like “ETA” and some proper nouns. The rules seem to be random.

Finally, a word game without blasting primary colored cartoon characters, unwanted power ups/bonuses/stickers/points etc... a simple aesthetically pleasing format and word game truly about words and nothing more. Thank you.

I have had this app through multiple generations of iPhones and still play it regularly. I like that it has no trouble remembering where you left off. My only complaint is frustration with a number of words it has omitted from its dictionary.

This is a fun game, save for the fact that countless words are not included. The creator of this game obviously has fundamentalist religious beliefs. There is nothing pornographic about the omitted words. But, to a little church lady who thinks that “darn” is swearing, some words are considered “sinful.” So, if you’re a Bible thumping, church casserole baking, judgemental person who thinks they’re better than us heathens, then this game is for you!
