A Sad Report
[25 March 2024] Well, I am sad to say that TQ is very close to being unplayable. I have a level 68 player in Epic Mode that has reached Valhol. My player runs into enemies that are at level 70 or better. I also have several players in Epic Mode who have reached level 62. In earlier versions of TQ, Legendary Mode enemies started at Level 60. Usually I can defeat one or two enemies above my level. But a horde of undead or similar enemies, each of which takes 20 or better hits to defeat, is beyond my player’s ability. Think of trying to defeat a horde of five or more Gray Sisters from Hades. And, leveling up requires more and more effort, takes longer and longer to achieve, etc. Briefly, even if we somehow defeat such enemies, doing so for each encounter will be a long drawn out grind. [28 Feb. 2024] Bravo for the recent changes and tweaks. Now I can see which jewelry items are green without using a magnifier. The mods have changed how the game crashes. The game doesn’t quite just quit to desktop. First the screen freezes, then the game crashes. But first I need to switch to the desktop. The game will now crash when I look at my inventory too many times. We recently crashed just by changing a player’s amulet. That did not happen before the recent mods. [end Feb Jan.]

[16 Jan. 2024] Here we go again.. A few program changes that TQ might consider. Adopting only two or three of them would probably send TQ ratings through the roof. Melee weapons should require strenth only, where melee armour would require a mix of strength and dext. Leave bows alone. Merchants should show stuff that fits what a player can actually use. If my player has 250 Dext., don’t show me bows that require 350 dext. Shrines don’t stack. If I find an exp. shrine, and then find another exp. shrine before that one finishes, the game will not refresh what I have left. If enenies really leveled up with the player, then going back to Helos with a level 10 player would mean facing level 10 enemies. But that doesn’t happen. When showing damage, etc. on rings and amulets, show the base damage first and then the percentage added. 15% of zero is just zero. Heck, A milllion percent of zero is just zero. Consider a bell curve for player exp. So after, say, level 65 it would take less exp. to level up. Likewise, after a player reaches, say, level 70 it would be nice if they received 3 attribute points and 4 skill points. [end 16 Jan.]

[7 Dec.2023] Here we go again. I have set graphics to low settings, and audio to 20%, but the game still runs from warm to hot. If the heat issue doesn’t get addressed soon, then I will either stop playing TQ or get a second device sooner than expected. The weapon damages stat doesn’t show pierce damage for a bow with a relic that gives pierce damage. The monster bonuses stat doesn’t show less damage from undead for a ring with a relic that does so. Leaves me wondering how many other mis-calculations and non-calculations are in the game. The traveling merchants and monster camps are a nice addition. When I encounter a golden scarab I usually ignore it; defeating it is not worth the effort. When I change the difficulty modifier, the game difficulty displayed when I look at my player stats stays the same. If TQ offered a character editor, then it would probably fetch a good price. If you done want to loose your money don’t buy it this game crash front the beginning, I try to get my money back and between and this guys have a business to not return the money, you not going to have any feedback for no one, between Apple and this guys keep the money, when you do the complain Apple wash there hand simple say it this game is not refunded without explanation, is it no like Google they explain why can’t be refunded, don’t loose 25 dollars, DONT BUY IT YOU GOING TO BE SORRY!!! [2 Dec.2023] I haven’t bought the Ultimate edition, so I can’t leave a review there. First thing to say is that the game on my ipad mini 5 now runs very hot. Hot enouugh that my device stops charging the battery until the temp returns to normal. So now I have to pause the game frequently, since if I don’t then sooner or later the heat will literally cripple my device. Next thing to say is that life leach resistance now seems to work. Thank you very much. I wondered why anyone would start a game in Legendary mode, since that mode starts with -100 resistances. But what do you know, if we start in Legendary mode, then the new game provides an armour with +100 resistances. I won’t play the new version at Legendary mode, mostly because leveling my player takes way too long. The new version no lomger shows xp gained when a monster is defeated. Not happy about that.
