Tutorial isn’t working.
When I try to run the tutorial to learn the game, only a black screen is loaded. The tutorial does not run. Will this be fixed any time soon?
Dandelion bug!!!
Half the time you play his dev card Friend: Carmen, it takes your gold but does NOT give you the good fortune card. This is a pretty obvious bug and while I know the game is years old at this point, it’s worthy of a patch for these sorts of bugs!
Great Adventure Board Game
This RPG board game full of quests and abundant replay-ability offers a great deal of fun both solo, with friends, and online. To learn the rules, I recommend watching the tutorial videos then playing against only one computer opponent so that you're able to advance from turn to turn faster and get the hang of it. My only complaint is that there isn't a "skip" button to advance past the computer players' turns instantly. Computer turns go quickly, yes, but instantly would be a nice relief sometimes. Awesome game! I hope the creators will break the mold and offer additional quests/boards some day... if it's in the cards.
Good board game
The last update really improved the AI. It is still beatable most of the time, but my games have been closer. I really appreciate the update and recommend giving this game a shot!
Very good but weak AI
I love this game and everything about it. My only gripe is that the AI is very weak. All they have to do is move 1 city to collect their reward for their quest and they move in the opposite direction? Why? The last 3 games I played I had over 80 points in each while the 2 AI has less than 30. That's my only issue, just wish it was more of a challenge. However, the gameplay and lore is great and smooth to play. Also, you may need patience to learn the game because the tutorial is horrible. I finally picked it up maybe half way through my 3rd game. Once I did "get it", I do enjoy it
Not much better than Talisman
If you like Talisman, then this game is for you. There is just slightly more interaction through cards, and the gameplay is literally move and roll. Disappointing.
AI and matchmaking broken
One of the major selling points of board game ports on iOS is the opportunity for solo players to enjoy the game outside of their gaming group. Unfortunately in this case the AI is so dumb that it completely ruins the solo experience. There is absolutely no challenge to keep you engaged. As for online play, I tried several times but never got matched with any other player. It's a shame because the game offers really high production values and some interesting mechanics. At the moment though, and until the AI and matchmaking are fixed, the game is a waste of time.
