Fun puzzles, some bugs
The puzzles are fun and challenging for the most part and there’s a lot of gameplay for the money. But there were places in the game where puzzles failed to cooperate and I had to restart to get them working again. The two places that come to mind are the pinball game (it didn’t give me a new ball). And the game in the second to the last room that’s like a giant lock. You have to move the pieces laterally and at one point they wouldn’t budge. I restarted the game several times to get it working again. Also, though the graphic are beautiful for the most part, there are places that could have used more care. For instance, you could see seams in the hedges.

United StatesGreat puzzles built around a fun story
Challenging and fun, frustrating but so rewarding when you figure things out. Not every puzzle is simple but they shouldn’t be. They’re meant to stump you - make you think differently. If you really work at it for an hour or two per day, you’ll probably finish in 3-5 days or so. I didn’t want it to end and there are so many rooms and puzzles that make the game worth its price. Ready for HoD III.

So I started with game 3 first not realizing there were 2 before it. I love puzzle games. Works my mind… keep them coming. Excited for 4 to come out. The graphics, puzzles, and story lines are amazing.

The game isn’t worth it. The puzzles are too easy and they’ve botched any semblance of control system in the game. 9 orlut of 10 times you will spend twice as long just touching the screen in just the perfect way to make pet of the puzzle function. If it were at all mildly entertaining puzzles you could MAYBE overlook the abominable control system. But honestly this game isn’t worth paying for - just download the freebies.

Played the first game and it was pretty good. The story was interesting, but in this second game it starts to get really deep and intriguing. The music in this game is very nice too and adds great ambiance. The puzzles are top notch and 99% unique with a few familiar favorites scattered in. Some people compare this game series to The Room games. The Room games are great, but I think these Da Vinci games are great in their own right. I’m really liking the story so far and I like the theme better than The Room games. On to the 3rd one now!
