Needs better categories at the high end
They’ve lumped all levels of slightly higher than normal difficulty into the single category of Diabolical, when in reality many of those are easily solved with one or two low level tricks, while many require the highest level of logical tricks. Need 3 or 4 additional categories.

If you are using the notes, you have to click in the cell, then click the pencil, and then select the digit to fill the cell. There is no way to toggle the notes tool off, so it requires a ton of extra clicks. I spent the whole game play fiddle with the settings trying to get it so that I could toggle the notes off but that seems not to be an option. Also, the highlights around the notes (the little borders) are almost impossible to see. Waste of $2; couldn’t test without paying. Wish I could get a refund but I suspect I’m out of luck on that.

It’s beautifully designed, the developers are very responsive, and it’s simply wonderful to not have to pay for a subscription. If I have one complaint it’s this: I keep finding that certain puzzles don’t quite match up to their levels. Difficult-level puzzles will actually be Hard, Medium will be Difficult, Hard will be Difficult, etc. This doesn’t happen all the time—maybe like 5-10% of the puzzles I get—but it’s kind of frustrating. The developers deserve no blame though: I’m guessing the algorithm used to create the puzzles probably needs to be tweaked a little, and that’s not always easily accomplished. Please don’t let this detract from this review though, because I adore this app, and use it all the time.

As soon as I purchased and downloaded this game my other Sudoku game blacked out and stopped working. Furthermore when I attempted to click “help” to get support however it generated a blank screen.
