I come back to it again and again
I bought this game around 2016—or maybe even earlier? And I have played it every single year since. It’s my go-to game and if they ever get rid of it, I will die. Okay, so maybe it’s not that dramatic—but it feels like it. This is my favorite game. It’s such a good dating sim, idyllic, beautiful, and filled with Austen-style characters and plots. I will continue to play this game for as long as it’s on my phone!
Love this game!
One of the best romance games out there. I love the writing and storyline. I desperately want this studio to either add more to this one or make another one because it’s just so good. I have played it multiple times and revisit frequently.
Delightful!
Wonderfully well-written. My only complaint is that there isn’t more to enjoy! I would love to see a path (or several paths) created for Lord Sutton, or that unnamed Gentleman who crops up every so often. After 2 years, is there any hope?
Love this!
I revisit this story frequently and love the artwork. The writing is excellent and the classic/tasteful romance elements are refreshing. I only wish this developer would add more or continue on with these stories. I would gladly buy more. I love that it’s one purchase for the whole thing versus having to keep spending money to unlock new chapters.
Disappointing
As a well read regency enthusiast, I cannot appreciate the selections given to the reader like choosing between books that were scandalizing during that time — Eliza Haywood, Samuel Richardson, John Cleland, Henry Fielding. I find some of these works are still offensive. To go from Jane Austin in the game to Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure, yuck.
Needs update
I loveeeee the game, but we’ve been waiting a few years for the promised additional bachelors and extended storyline. I am so curious about Christopher, our heroine’s brother. I’m also wondering what happened to the spin off, Regency Love: London that was mentioned a few years ago.
