This is most definitely Dark Souls vibes especially in the combat. If you’re not patient and studying the enemy attack patterns… then get used to that *you died** screen. However, Pascals Wager is it’s own unique story & lore dripping in mystery and enigma. The game world feels fleshed out. I love the characters accents and how they pronounce their words… sometimes not matching the subtitles, but I’m more than ok with that, oddly.. it stimulates me this way. Also their unique accent nd monotone dialogue matches the dark world they exist in, ain’t nothing here cheerful, it’s a dark and brutal world. Their accent and lack of emotion reminds me of thst. This game is truly amazing, that’s why they made a million or more by now, this was reported two or so years ago, and they deserved every penny. I say this to bring up the QUALITY of this game. Remember it’s inspired by dark souls, so you will die over and over, and eventually when you get good, you will feel proud of your accomplishment. If you don’t want to play the story but want some combat.. try the obsession game mode, in here you fight against bosses you already defeated in the story mode. It’s an excellent practice grounds. DEAR DEVS, I purchased all DLC’s thank you for such an amazing game and it’s continued support. SADLY.. one thing **ruins** the immersion of the experience: PLEASE REMOVE THE RIGHT SIDE SCREEN UI ELEMENTS WHEN USING CONTROLLER or allow us to make it opaque in the settings. There seems to be a bug where the elements disappear but still pop up at times and refuse to go away, even though I’m using a physical Xbox controller. This is ruining my experience when I connect my device to 130’ AR glasses Screen. Outside of that… Please Keep dropping dlc - I’ll keep buying! Consider adding a COMBO PRACTICE MODE? • one enemy dummy (remains static, does not attack) • all of our combo abilities unlocked • unlimited rage, grimme.. etc. so we can practice our combos inputs *continuously* over & over to commit to muscle memory.

Game is way too confusing, way too hard. I keep dying. The first boss is a nightmare so i just quit. Plus you cannot have background audio like apple music replace the game music.

The voice acting isnt great but the game is simply amazing. The closest game to Dark Souls that you will get, and by far the best paid mobile game that i have ever purchased. I home the continue to make DLC, expanding on the story or make a sequel. I would love for them to create something similar to Elden Ring that is more open world.

If you’re looking for a AAA mobile game inspired heavily by souls games,look no further!! I’ve played every souls and souls like game out there just finished lies of p too and I can say this game is right up there with the heavyweights. I’m very much enjoying this game as much as any souls game and the price is great I’m for sure getting the dlc too. Thanks devs for this amazing creation and tribute to the souls genre!!

I liked the first part of the game, but after reaching the second altar it created a bug that makes it unplayable. When you start or restart the game you have the attack controls displayed. As soon as you start an attack they disappear and you end up being killed as you can’t attack. I restarted my game since I wasn’t to far into it, reset the app, and tried to get it to work properly, but each time the same thing happened. Very disappointing as it was enjoyable for the short time I played it. It was a waste of money.
