No landscape mode…
This game would be better if it allowed landscape mode. Otherwise it’s ok. Deleted.
Make more levels!
I finished all levels a long time ago and occasionally check back to see if you’ve added more. Sadly, no.I enjoyed this game immensely and I’m waiting for more!

Lettercraft is a great game. The goal I set for myself and have never achieved is 3 stars for every level. This becomes annoyingly difficult at level 50 give or take levels behind or in front. It’s not challenging or fun. It’s frustrating in a bad way.
It’s NOT Boggle!! It’s BETTER!
The most recent review I read said that the color changes of the letters made it harder to find words. Errmm… that’s the whole point!! If that bothers you, play a word search. This is a puzzle game. As time ticks down, letters that have not been used start to “heat up” (change color) until they “burn up” and disappear. I enjoy the challenge very much! It keeps you on your toes, knowing that if you don’t use certain letters in time you’ll lose them. I will tell you one important thing though: I was on the verge of rating this game 2/3 stars and deleting it after I reached level 6. It just became IMPOSSIBLE to make words that met the requirements. **Buuuuut** I had been playing the game thinking that all letters in a word must be connected (like in Boggle). Once I figured out I could use any letters on the board, it became much easier to pass a level, but still not TOO easy where it becomes tedious and boring. I’m glad I purchased this game, and I’m also glad I figured out that letters don’t have to be connected! Like I said, it became easier, but not easy. Very fun challenge, nice and short levels so you can play one or two rounds when you’re waiting in line or play as many as you want. *For the Devs* My favorite levels are the ones with specific letter requirements. Maybe consider adding a mode that just generates random requirements (such as must contain the letter C, and must have at least 4 letters) and you try to beat your high score? I’m not sure this would even be possible, but I would LOVE IT if there were stages where all words must be even more specific: colors, animals, numbers or nouns, adjectives or verbs, etc… just more ways to limit the possibilities & to make it more challenging. I’m sure that would require loading lists of word properties into the programming, but if you’re using a dictionary, maybe you could program it to create the lists for you by scanning for keywords in definitions, such as “color” or “animal”. Just an idea. Maybe I should have held on to that and made my own game! Lol
Absurdly fun word nerd game
The levels are quick and just hard enough to be super fun. Seems like the developer has moved on. No gripes here but I’m hoping they come back to make more games because I love the two on offer! If, per chance, they were to spend some more time with LetterCraft, these are my tiny little UX dreams. 1. In Levels Mode: show your previous score/word count in the summary. This way you can play the same levels while adding a bit of new challenge. 2. In Levels Mode: when hitting the pause button, show the level’s requirements. My tiny brain forgets sometimes! Particularly when the requirements are a little dense like “Start with the letter L with at least 7 letters” 3. “Generate Levels” mode. Instead of requiring the developer to come back and create new levels, a “Generate levels” mode would do exactly that. If the generated level involved a specific letter, the game would know to add that letter to the center, etc. 4. Shuffle all letters feature with a point and/or time penalty? And a few tiny, ignorable bugaboos: 1. Levels mode: seems like the time is a little shorter after hitting “Retry”. At least, the first color shift happens faster than if you END and start again. 2. Probably nothing to be done about this one but thinking out loud here… When you’re racing to use a few red letters and create a word with, say three yellow letters and three red letters and the color shift timer runs out before you submit the word, it’s pretty easy to get a word error that transitions your yellow letters automatically. Would be nice if there was some way for the game to know “that was a real word but you didn’t submit it on time so I’m not going to ding these other letters”. I know, crazy pants. Sorry this was so long. Did I mention I love this game? 😍🥰😍🥰😍
Fun and challenging
Beautifully designed with fluid game play. The app never gets in the way of the game. Would like to see the point requirements on the final screen so that I know how far off from three stars I am (and/or know how hard I crushed it 😎)
