Caution
I bought $20 worth of “coins” to buy some towers but the purchase function doesn’t work so they basically just took my money. Game is entertaining, but don’t make any purchases.
United StatesDoesn’t work on modern iPhones
If you have an iPhone X or newer, you will not be able to play this game. This is because you have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen in order to place your towers, and it will instead just swipe out of the game and into your multitask menu. Additionally, you will end up earning coins in the game, but you can’t do anything with them. Sure you’ll see towers you can buy, and Items to buy, but you can’t actually buy them with coins - the interface doesn’t work. I doubt these things will ever be addressed. I’m probably gonna try to get a refund.

It’s pretty important to be able to place towers on the whole grid so a glitch that makes a whole row inaccessible is pretty crippling

IT NEEDS AN UPDATE TO IOS17. To clarify, the screen resolution is too big so some buttons and touch pads close to the sides glitch where parts of the map is inaccessible. Please shrink it down or at least move the buttons closer to the middle. It seems like this game can burn hot through your battery fast, but you can get lost playing bc it's soon well done that even years later it's fun! Lots of bugs where even with enough stars or coins, you can’t purchase new types of turrets or defense. While it's still playable without needing to buy new stuff, it's definitely a loss in experience. Don't even get me started on the swipeable bar for iPhone users. That portion below the iPhone which is like the home button makes it so hard to reach and access the bottom layer of the interface/map. With all this said, don't let this review stop you from enjoying the game! The temporary fix I learned is that you can zoom into the map and navigate to the bottom to access that part of the map for placing turrets on the bottom slots of the map. Would have loved to give Fieldrunners 2 5 stars, but the glitches, bugs, and updates need to be patched especially for iOS 17. Please Update The Game! Thank You.

Can you fox the app to work properly on iPhone? I can’t place towers in bottom row because the swipe up gesture is in the way.

Please update the game to accommodate the screen size for the iPhone 15. I can’t use the bottom slots for placing down. The game size needs to be reduced. Otherwise it’s very fun to play.
