KariBites is a food delivery service that operates in St. Vincent, Grenada, and Antigua. You can order delivery or takeout and even schedule your order in advance.
Failed business operation
As a delivery service with restaurants that open at 7, why are you accepting orders? I ordered coffee from KariBites and one from AllMart (20 minutes after my KariBites order). AllMart arrived immediately and they keep you abreast of what’s going on with your order without you asking. KariBites on the other hand, you have to harass to get information. The app isn’t even well designed: it’s a website put into a poorly built app. Just order from AllMart, more options with that app plus, seamless and efficient. I could’ve walked to get my coffee or at least had the AllMart driver go get it. It’s been 2 hours since the order and all I’ve been told is “we’re trying to get a hold of the driver”. Pack it up. Close the app. This was a great business idea, but the execution is PISS POOR.
Lots of Potential but currently impossible
If you’re a fan of getting cold food hours after ordering from a place within walking distance and having a huge headache over people calling you yelling at you for ordering the food wrong then you’re in luck this is the app for you. Apparently what this company does is it expects the drivers to pay upfront for your food and then you are surprised with the fact that instead of using your credit card you now owe them a huge cash lump sum for something that you did not authorize. Then the best part of my evening was getting a call from the owner telling me that I did something wrong. How can a company expect their workers to pay for things upfront out of their own pocket and treat their workers so disrespectfully and still exist?
