I haven’t been able to connect it to Google authenticator app for months. Any time I need to update info it freezes my account for a day. I only need one U.S platform for cashing out. Coinbase’s fees are about the same as uphold and it’s much easier to use. So I’m moving my uphold coins to Bitget which has access to hundreds of thousands of coins.

I am beyond exasperated with Uphold’s appalling level of customer service. For months, I have been trapped in a cyclical nightmare trying to retrieve my own funds from their clutches. Despite their empty promises and a public façade of wanting to help, they’ve done absolutely nothing. After they responded to my previous scathing review asking for a ticket number, I thought perhaps there might be a glimmer of hope. But no, it was just another page in their playbook of delay and ignore. They have my ticket number, they have my details, and yet, they’ve done zilch to rectify the situation or even provide a basic update. Their incompetence is only matched by their apparent disdain for customer satisfaction. This isn’t just poor customer service; it’s a total abandonment of responsibility. Uphold might as well be a black hole because once your money goes in, it never comes out, and neither does any form of meaningful communication.

Do not be fooled by Uphold’s polished exterior; their service is a disaster. They are holding onto my funds with no justification, effectively holding me and my money hostage. Despite their initial assurances of resolving my issue promptly, they have completely stonewalled me, ignoring my repeated attempts to communicate. This is not only unprofessional but also deeply unethical. Their customer service is a joke—unresponsive, evasive, and utterly useless. It’s clear they have no intention of solving any problems but are very interested in creating them. Uphold’s actions border on fraudulent, trapping customers’ funds without providing any real solutions or communication. If you’re considering using Uphold, think again. Their operations are a perfect example of how not to run a financial service. You’re better off throwing your money into a well. At least then, you wouldn’t expect it to climb back out.
