Simple for seniors!
I am new to online banking. I have resisted using an online program until 2 years ago. As a 70 year old, I am especially pleased to find Scotia bank's online system very easy to navigate! Thanks, Scotia folks!
Low quality account
They raised the account min balance from 4000 to 6000. I didn’t login for several months and they charged me 30 a month for three months. I complained, they gave me back 60. Many many errors. I don’t trust Scotiabank bank at all. For awhile, to fix errors, I tried to call and 45 min hold time. It is better now fortunately, they now answer in a reasonable time.
Ease of doing business
The Scotia app makes it easy to get business done - transfer money, pay bills, send cash to the kids - all done with a few clicks. Second level security with the biometric ID is very re-assuring.
