PayPal does not care about doing there job
I have used PayPal for many years and have used them for almost all my purchases until now. I am done with PayPal there customer service has gone down the tube and nobody wants to do there job. I made a purchase through PayPal back in November and did not know that I had to go through PayPal to open a claim. I opened a claim with my credit card where I saw the charge. My credit card gave me a temporary credit on my card until they investigated the purchase. In the meantime the merchant refunded PayPal the full amount of the purchase. I received a letter from my credit card that the claim is closed in my favor and the the credit it permanent. PayPal put a negative balance on my PayPal account for the amount in question and will not remove it. After contacting PayPal numerous time about this and sent them the letter I received from my credit card about the claim being closed PayPal refuses to investigate the claim. Not PayPal has sent this to collections and I have perfect credit because nobody in PayPal wants to there job. I opened a complaint with the Better business bureau and even the complaint they replied saying that they contacted me by email which was a lie. The only thing I received was a voicemail that they would send me an email which I never received. There is still a complaint with the BBB and I still have my negative balance on my account. My credit card company even says that PayPal need to contact us but they will not because nobody at PayPal wants to do there job because they don’t care. PayPal has gone down hill and I will never use them again.

I loathe PayPal. Detest it. I never want to have an account but any time I use Eventbrite or other event websites (this recently happened with repticon) I will have the option to checkout as a GUEST through PayPal but EVERY TIME I try to do this, PayPal forces me to create an account if I don’t have one. It’s unbelievably annoying. I don’t want stupid PayPal I just want to pay for my event with my own card. Now they won’t let me delete my account because I have to provide proof of my identity, my address, and bank info. Out of their freaking minds.

I have paid my bills for PayPal in full through my bank to my PayPal credit run by synchrony bank. PayPal is still charging me for what I have paid and synchrony. PayPal is now insisting that I send them my entire statement from my bank to prove that I paid it. This is a total rip off and if I get turned over to credit for things I have already paid for I am going to be more angry than I already am, which is almost impossible to believe. I will never use PayPal credit again.

I was very disappointed in PayPal recently. I have been using PayPal for quite some time. I ordered an item that was 33.00. I received an empty package and complained. PayPal did not stand behind me and I ended up losing 33.00 in the deal. I even submitted pictures. Buyer beware. There are many scams out there and PayPal will not always have your back.

Every time I use the PayPal app to make a payment it stays on the “SEND” page after I hit “Send”! Makes me think I need to hit “SEND” AGAIN! The only way to confirm that the payment actually went through is to go to my email and check for a confirmation email there. I’ve reported this a couple of times but nothing has been done to correct this problem, at least not on my account. It’s very unsettling to tap “SEND” and then not receive a confirmation immediately like every other oneline payment app. PayPal, PLEASE FIX THIS!
United StatesRidiculous funds on hold policy and customer service
I understand having a 30 day wait period for new accounts before releasing funds. But they then put my account on $200 limit and held all other funds for another 30 days after being processed and would deny any increase on that limit. Their solution to this problem was to continue to make transactions and apply again next month. I don’t know of any businesses that can afford to just not get paid for a month waiting for PayPal to possibly decide to give them approval. The chat for customer service wasn’t any help either, my chat was canceled on multiple occasions and it took two days to get anyone on the phone. Will never do business with them again.
