Chase CC Connector
This is a very good app. It works well with my Amex cards. However, it doesn’t work with the Chase cards. I am going to give it one more shot to resolve following suggestions on a HELP article I saw on company website. However, if that doesn’t work I am going to cancel. For me, approximately 50% of my cards are on Amex and the other 50% on Chase. Not worth it if the Chase CC Connector issue is not resolved.
Without Chase Connector, it’s pretty much worthless
Started using MaxRewards about a year ago and at the time my Chase and Amex accounts would never sync. Stopped using the app and came back a month ago and Amex seems to sync fine but the Chase account never syncs. Given that most of my ecosystem is primarily Chase, this app is pretty much worthless. I get the engineering troubles but you really shouldn’t advertise as being the only app that can successfully sync with Chase when I haven’t been able to use it for an entire year.
Rewards Multiplier
Update: The issue has been fixed through recent update. Original: Really loved the app. But recently my BOA preferred rewards tier upgraded and I tried to change the rewards multiplier for the BOA cards. It says the change is saved but it’s not. It keeps being reset to the previous input automatically…
$7 For?
I absolutely hate hitting a paywall before actually experiencing anything, what a waste of time. For anyone else, word to the wise, there is an app called “Savvy”, completely free. No brainer.
Capital One and Wells Fargo accounts don't sync
I really wanted to keep this app but it was frustrating to always re-link the accounts for CapitalOne and WellsFargo. Is it just my phone or it's the app's technical issues?
$7 MINIMUM Subscription for Anything Useful
Completely useless unless you sign up for a $7 trial which of course they don’t tell you about until after you’re done syncing all your data. Literal trash.
Bug when setting points value
Overall it looks a good app to manage credit cards, but it fails saving my setup for points value.
