Not scaled for ipad
This is clearly the app they built for the iPhone and doesn't fill the screen of the iPad. I end up using their website instead for this reason.
Mobile app is fine. Customer service is horrible!
So I’m a new Citi credit card customer and my first experience with live customer service couldn’t have been worse! First off you will go around in circles with the automated Bot since it has extremely limited capabilities to understand phases other than a few it is programmed to respond to. If you are able to get past the Bot and finally speak with a live representative you will regret it and long for the Bot again because at least it understands rudimentary English and given simple instructions can provide a logical solution. After several frustrating attempts (3 phone calls) with live representatives to execute what turned out to be a fairly simple task, I ended up figuring it out myself since the last Citibank representative hung up on me (I can tell the difference and the call was NOT disconnected the Rep actually hung up). To Citibank: If you want your customers not to become frustrated and impatient with your customer service please provide competent representatives that don’t continually repeat the same incorrect information after the caller has just said something completely different. You tape your calls for a reason. Please review those recordings and understand that NO customer service help is far better than service that angers, frustrates and infuriates your customers! 5 Stars for an easy to use mobile app. Minus ZERO Stars for customer support. Total equals 2 Stars for mobile app and a very generous 0%, 21 month balance transfer credit card.

This app does not communicate well with websites when making international purchases -pop up does not pop up to approve the purchase. European credit cards and bank cards are much more advanced.
Why closed to app until update?
My phone does have a iCloud ( disabled) and the app is completely close forcing me to update before using the app. I am about to call the customer service to cancel my account because I can’t fixed my iCloud account and I am about to switch to android phones for the rest of my life. Other apps are sending me messages for updates but they are not forcing me as Citi bank app is doing. I have outstanding amount I want to pay but I CANNOT and this is not fair at all. So bye Citi bank and iPhones and laptops (apple). Thanks

Poor service- nightmare -AMEX Superior
Citi accounting is very troublesome. App issues force you to call and that is the last thing you want to do. Outsourced reps on all of our various charge cards. They do not understand how to solve problems and talk lengthy and repetitively. I know with Home Depot Citi it is almost impossible to reach someone and you will get hung up on countless times. “F” rated company. Many smaller companies have so much better service. And forget about trying to dispute fraud, they get facts confused and do not favor the customer. After using Amex Platinum, Gold and regular AMEX, I find Citi often intolerable. I really hope Costco and Home Depot will switch to another bank so I may eventually close all four of my Citi accounts
