Works fine after linking subscription
I’d like to be able to download an issue from 2002. I lost my copy somehow
No magazine to read
App does not show the latest issue of the magazine, also the print version does not get delivered every month. Vogue needs better leadership, or it will die really soon.
Terribly glitchy, no response or attempt to fix
Cancelled my subscription after laboring in vain to get Vogue to fix this terribly glitchy, non-responsive app, which fails to perform the most basic functions—unable to read pages in landscape mode, can’t open links from newsletter in the app. Vogue needs to start from scratch with their app (and fix their print magazine delivery system ) or they will continue to lose customers.
No one seems to care about improving this app
Perhaps if someone can advise me how to open my digital copy of the magazine in another app, I won’t have to bother with the Vogue app, whose shortcomings I am tired of dealing with. Even the public library’s Flipster app allows me to toggle the screen orientation with magazines (including Vogue) yet the Vogue app is incapable of handling this basic function. Another basic function that the app can’t handle is opening a direct link from the Vogue newsletter in my inbox in my iPad Pro’s native e-mail client. There’s basically no options to customize the app. Unacceptable.
Quite a number of problems with app
The app is a nice idea and it looks presentable on its face, but there are a number of fundamental flaws that are basic to the way an app should work. One obvious problem is the lack of ability to change screen orientation. Yes, it looks better in portrait mode, but I should still have the option to use landscape orientation and I don’t which irks me because every other app I have used provides this option. Another issue is that I cannot open links from the newsletter directly in the app. Vogue app practically urges subscribers to sign up for newsletters to be delivered to my email inbox, so I did but I would expect to be able to open the links in the app. I have contacted Vogue about this previously but their response didn’t address the problem. Also, why do I have to open an issue before I can access Vogue.com in the app? That makes no sense to me. Even then, I sometimes won’t see the links that I see in my newsletter for days. Also, Vogue has an App Setting link but when I click it, absolutely nothing happens. Is this app being worked on? It needs a lot of work. Even when I read Vogue on my local library’s free magazine app, I could change the screen orientation. Maybe when my subscription is up, I will cancel and go back to using my library’s free app.
Does not sync with digital subscription
I’m signed up for the digital subscription via Vogue.com - which should give me access to the app. However my subscription hasn’t synced with the app. I can log in but it says I have no subscription. Customer support has yet to respond to me. So, basically, they just took my money.
Doesn’t work
Won’t even let me log in. I downloaded the app because the web site keeps forcing me to log in over and over and still won’t let me view the issue. The directions for the app aren’t even possible. There are no 3 dots on the main page, and signing in takes me to a different web site, which doesn’t log me in on the app. Absolutely pathetic. I expected better from Vogue.
