Quartermaster is the management app for tabletop miniature games that knows how to play nice. As a wargamer, you're constantly thinking about new ways to assemble an army, force, or squadron for your favorite miniature games. Now you’ll be ready to draft your ideas whenever inspiration strikes. And when gaming time comes, you’ll have all your miniatures in order. No more loose pages and scribbled notes! Quartermaster uses game systems and faction templates created by a community of wargamers just like you. You can create and edit your own factions right in the app. The list of community-created games for Quartermaster continues to grow, and currently includes the following tabletop miniature games: - Horus Heresy - Necromunda - Warhammer Fantasy Battles - Adeptus Titanicus - Battlefleet Gothic - Warmaster - and more! Quartermaster has been completely redesigned and rewritten from the ground up to bring you the latest technologies and the best user experience. - iCloud automatically syncs your drafts across your devices. - Share your drafts with your friends (and opponents!) by AirDrop, social media, email, or message. - Prepare a detailed list or card grid for printing. Play nice. Use Quartermaster.
Changes to the app
The recent changes are good with the exception of one thing. The percentages for the segments of the army. When you’re building the army it’s a little harder to build without the very helpful percentages. Thanks
Very Unhappy With Version 6
Editing and creating lists is now an absolute chore, either I need a tutorial video on how to use this version or simple list creation tools, like copying an entire list to edit and rename, are impossible now. Printing off an army list used to be great, the army list was beautiful and had as much detail as the list creator wanted to program in. Now the army lists are plain and may as well be a plain Word document. If there isn’t an option to go back to Version 5 I am probably dropping this app altogether.
Meh
Not a fan. Doesn’t separate legion specific items, just throws it all together. Bugged out on me and left me with no faction data. Only thing I can say is they did get the HH 2.0 data up quickly.
Nice app but missing HH data
For being paid, I was hoping all HH data would be readily available, but it seems the exemplary and legacy units have yet to be added. Once these are added app rating would be a 4 or 5.
Not bad but needs work.
Not super user friendly or intuitive. The user guide is a must read. Overall the app is a cool idea but it feels like it needs a ton of work on the users end imputing data to really build a list. Feels kind of like a spreadsheet that looks cool.
Beat army building app I ever used.
A lot better then the other apps I’ve used to build army’s. Perfect to list hammer with.
The 10mm Socket You Can Always Find
Quartermaster keeps getting better with every edition and is by far the handiest tool to have in the tool box. You can get shared rosters for a dizzying array of armies across many game systems that are easily edited and updated regularly. Building your own roster is very simple to do and is very handy for those who don’t want to wait for someone else to submit the updated versions. The Negative: many text options are automatically capitalized for every word, but some are not. Having every word capitalized looks phenomenal on when printed out on paper. If we had the option for EVERY word to be automatically capitalized all of the dowloaded rosters would look just as good as the ones we build ourselves. Overall not necessarily a negative more than an OCD nitpick. Overall stellar application and a must have for any tabletop general worth their dice!
Quartermaster 6.2 adds more ways to muster and review your forces. Improved Profile Displays Profiles are now displayed in a familiar table layout to improve readability. This extends to the fully redesigned Roster Table PDF. Check it out through the Share menu. Adding Units and Detachments Easily add units from other factions to your draft with the options at the top of the Add Unit view. Add to a secondary detachment or choose a different role from the usual. Personalized Equipment and Notes Add custom details to units without making changes to the faction. Perfect for house rules or unique campaign rewards! Find the new options in the Personalize menu. Quartermaster 6.2.6 adds a workaround for Safari renaming files before importing.
