Failed
First photo of a common plant failed to give plant id. Way off the mark. Blew $19.99 with no chance of refund. What a rip off
Doesn’t work in my garden
This app does not work as promised. Very disappointed. Couldn’t even identify Salvia or Cucumber plants.
Helpful App!
Plant Snap is a helpful app to identify plants. I primarily used it to identify plants in my yard. I took pictures of the plants, and the app quickly and accurately identified them. It's helpful as I am trying to learn about the various native plants I have growing in my yard. The only downside is that there's a limit to how many plants I can take pictures of to identify unless I pay for a subscription. The limit is five a day, but even that is workable as I often only want to take pictures of two to three plants at a given time.
Awesome

Generally a Fail
Does not correctly identify in I'd say 95% of cases. Really find this rather ridiculous. Maybe it is as I am interested in native foliage. Whatever the case, it's useless for me. I keep coming back to try it maybe every 6 months and zero. They should get better AI.
Pretty good recognition
I spend a lot of time hiking in the Rocky Mountains and often want to identify plants without needing to bring a physical book. The AI software in this app works fairly well to where I do not usually need to use the book. One thing I wish it had is the ability to either confirm or deny the AI identification. I saw no way to note that. I was a user of the free version and have not paid for the subscription.
Disappointed so far
I just bought the app last week, but am finding it frustrating to use. When I go on the app, there are other people’s pictures to sort through until I get to my own. I want to see my pictures, and think it’s unnecessarily cumbersome to have to figure out a way to get to my own pictures. It takes one or two extra clicks, and then I see my own pictures. If I go out of that for a few seconds, I’m back to the same picture off someone else’s flowers. I bought this for my use in identifying plants. I moved into a new home with an extensive garden and need help to figure out all the plants I’ve got. The app doesn’t seem to be very good at identifying leaves growing out of the ground, or a plant with flower buds not yet open. I don’t know yet how accurate the identifications of plants are. I have a list from the former owner of the name and location of plants, and what I have identified so far, is not on her list. I hope as more things bloom, the identification will improve.
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
