More communication
I think that is great I just wish there was more interaction/communication and less of just learning words/phrases.
Potential Revisions/Additions
Vikram’s community hotline (Spanish) is a great idea, but Vikram’s voice is painful to listen to. It’s unemotional and stale. Otherwise, it’s fine. I’d also implement an AI-powered conversation activity. Maybe have an objective you need to reach through talking to a character. Try and order coffee with an impatient barista or explain to a teacher why you don’t have your homework… there’s a few things you could do with this general idea. I also think it’d be nice to be able to pick and choose vocabulary “sets:” words that are related in an attempt to personalize learning in both efforts and goals. You could have a sports set, a cafe set, a hotel set, you get the idea. They’re all words meant for that area of your life. This is just to prevent learning words for “snail,” “ceiling,” and “wrist” at the same time, if you know what I mean. I’d rather learn “quickly,” “late,” and other more useful words. I understand that some of these are intensive extras, but I just think it’d help make the app more enjoyable and educational.
BEST LANGUAGE APP
This is the best language app out there. Only an 80 day streak and I can already speak a lot of French. It’s very entertaining and captivating.
Absolutely Amazing
This was by far the best language learning app I have ever tried. The leagues give the language learning a sense of competitiveness and the character customization is incredible! I totally recommend this and would get anybody I could to try this.
I ❤️ Duolingo
Duo thank for helping me learn Spanish and keep up the good work👍👍
Muy muy muy buena app
Excelente
Terrible dictation feature
I need practice speaking, and my Italian pronunciation is excellent, but this version of the app transcribes what I say into Spanish, Phillipino, words in unknown language but never Italian. Developers are so busy developing music and math that they have no time IGuess to improve what they do best. It’s disappointing. They should stick to languages and do a better job in that arena.
