No features
Would be a halfway decent app but it lacks features that so many other scheduling apps have. If an hourly person wants to give a shift up there should be room for them to try in the reason why the shift is up. Also should be an option for hourly staff to type messages to other staff. These are all things a first or second year programmer can add so I’m not sure why the people behind this junk refuse to do so
Possible Bugs in the Group Chat Feature
your website or app had no way to report problems, so I’m posting this here in hopes the developers may see this. I noticed 2 possible bugs in the group chat feature of the app that you want to check out for the next update. in my server group chat the preview message displays the latest sent message but displays the wrong person’s name. the name it displays is the person who sent the first text in the group chat. I closed the app entirely and opened it to the preview message multiple times, and occasionally it would show the correct name, but it seems something is conflicting from it consistently showing the correct name. the second one was when I open the group chat for the first time it displays the oldest messages first instead of the most recent messages. when I close the chat and open again while still in the app then it will go to the latest, but If I close the app, it will start at the oldest again. not sure if this was just intentional or bug, but it would be more convenient to see the most recent messages every time. thanks for listening to my feedback, & I hope you all can keep improving this app.
Hard to navigate
Extremely disappointed in my managers for switching to Restaurant 365, anytime I try and switch shifts there’s no way of knowing who I can switch shifts with. The app is difficult to navigate and there’s no “not working this shift” option which really puts a lot of stress on emergency switches. Would give anything to not use this app.
Terrible as a server…might be great if you’re a manager
We went from hotschedules to r365 and let’s just start by saying I’m absolutely not impressed. My account multiple times has not shown me scheduled even though my scheduling manager has put me on the schedule for the week, it has this weird bug where if you release one of your shifts it sometimes won’t even show your coworkers your shift is up for someone to take it. Also not having the option to request to work where your requests off is another downside. Hotschedules is a way better operate so is 7shifts. This r365 has a lot of work ahead of it and I do not look forward to have to continue using it. Think about the little people who aren’t managers that actually have to use this app as an everyday operation. Terrible product
