"Who Stole the Moon?" is an interactive musical picture book application. The fairy tale "Who Stole the Moon?" was written by British writer Helen Stratton-Would and illustrated by internationally-acclaimed Russian artist Vlad Gerasimov. It's a story about little Bertie, who dreamed about becoming an astronaut. He loved to watch the moon shining through his skylight window every night as he lay in bed. One evening, though, the moon didn't appear in the sky.

"Who Stole the Moon?" With this serious question, "detective" Bertie set out on his adventure. Help solve the mystery! Meet some amazing animal friends. Play games with them and sing together. Join Bertie on his quest with this charming bedtime story that will gently nurture your child's imagination and send him off into the magical world of dreams.

Full version includes:
~ Complete story with fully interactive vivid illustrations.
~ 4 educational games.
~ 8 original songs, plus karaoke.

The songs performed by award-winning American children's singer Susie Tallman and Australian musician Richard Pleasance.

The story is narrated by professional actors in 17 languages.

Really Great - But...

You can only view it in portrait mode on an iPad. There is no landscape mode. Also, this app is different than most. There is an iPhone and iPad version with the same name and picture. I bought the iPhone version by accident. And then I had to buy the iPad version. It really is pretty nice. Just don’t buy the iPhone version. And maybe the developer will fix the portrait/landscape issue.

Great for bedtime

Nice, sweet story for the little ones. Pretty interactive app, with songs for different parts of the story and the pages are very interactive. My 5 year old enjoyed it.

Finding a new moon

This is a most delectable story, ornamented with Images so enticing it's difficult to turn the page and say goodbye to each one. What a delight if one is rather small and just discovering how mysterious the world is. But I think at any age, if your heart is young, you will love to own this book and look at it repeatedly, maybe with a grandchild--or a grandparent. A perfect birthday present! Yours, Bengreet.

Excellent app for children

I am an SLP and fell in love with this app, I use it in 3 languages with my patients, it is a lovely story, with good quality animations and the English, Spanish and French versions are outstanding ( I have not listened to the other languages but there are more than five of them!). Absolutely recommend it and cannot wait for the next books.

Who Stole the Moon?

I enjoyed reading this book. I liked that the boy went on quest to find out who had stolen the moon. I also thought that the book was very interactive because I too wanted to solve the problem why we sometimes don't see the moon.

Great for 3-5

This is a great app. If you are looking for a wholesome nighttime app for your little one, this is one of the best. Great story and a lot of interaction. A lot of book apps have only one or two things you can do per page but this one has several. Also, the interactions are not boring either. Great job guys!
