Disappointing
I was looking for a daily meditation book to support my recovery. This appealed to me because it is addressed to women in recovery, but unfortunately it is pretty much the same as the books published by the twelve step groups, heavy on the god side. For those of us who are non-deity based, the constant reminder that god is in charge doesn’t support to our recovery path. Too bad, it’s just like all the others.

I found this old little green book at the Salvation Army several years ago. I would open it up and always feel so understood and inspired. This book was now held together by a rubber band. I decided I would look online to see about buying a replacement. This little bundle of daily golden wisdom. Behold, there was an app?! With daily reminders?! Wow! Again, God knows what I need. What we all need in the moment. Every moment. I’m now able to ‘share’ a thought with others in a flash... and I can pull it up anytime, anywhere. Thank you for gathering this wisdom together and making it ever easier to hold onto each day, as we all strive to begin again 🥰
