Wow! USCCB cancels the app!
I guess in their infinite wisdom, the bishops decided a tool, like the Breaking Bread app which worshipers used to facilitate and deepen their participation in daily mass was not a good thing. I don’t understand this decision. Is it about money?
Decision to cancel this app was wrong
I am disappointed to learn that this important digital Mass resource was discontinued. I enjoyed and used the Breaking Bread eMissal app every Sunday since finding it as a resource. Using this eMissal on my iPad was just fantastic. It offered all the readings and prays used in my parish and allowed the user to quickly search for hymnals by number, something I can’t do with the company’s other products since music numbers do not line up across books. Please reconsider reinstating this app as an annual subscription going forward with the same pricing as the paper in pew Breaking Bread book.
Thank You!
I have used your app for 2 years. Thank you for being here during this difficult time! The app was especially helpful during the shutdown when masses were live streamed. In the end, the app worked very well. I am not a computer person, but I thought it was fairly intuitive to use and I was able to add the songs and prayers to the daily readings with relative ease. Thank you again and God bless!
I will really miss this app
I used this app several times a week, not only for weekend masses, but daily masses. So nice!!! I used this app to help figure out hymn selections too and saw so much potential for development. It would have been amazing to be able to load the music I play and be able to flip pages straight through the mass with the mass parts. I hoped that would be the case in time. I’m sure it ended up more work than expected, especially with the economy tanking. Still, I’m disappointed. I had planned to encourage our parishioners this year to download the app and am glad that I noticed that it will not be available before I advertised in our bulletin. I used it for the last time today and thought “too bad”.
App
I love his app and that I can use it in Mass. Its disappointing that it will be discontinued and we need to go back to the clunky books. I’d much prefer the germ free app where I know I can find things quickly and the pages will be there. Please consider keeping this app.
I love this App Praying that it will continue to be available
I truly love this app It helps me prepare in advance for Mass It keeps me focused ( no fumbling through pages) I love that I have liturgy and music wherever I am so that I can fully participate in the mass Please, please do not discontinue this app🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love this app - very disappointed that it’s not being renewed
