Effective rate should not exceed 48% p.a. according to Money Lenders Ordinance (Cap. 163). The final interest rate, repayment period and loan amount available to customers will vary depending on individual credit status. Repayment period ranges from 3 months to 72 months. For a loan amount of HK$10,000, with an annual interest rate of 2.4% and a repayment period of 12 months, the total interest is HK$248.
