ANDROID AUTO SUPPORT:
At the moment it is not possible to show an overlay over the Maps app in Android Auto. Android Auto currently only supports audio or messaging apps (within some strictly defined boundaries).
We hope that Android Auto will become more open to allow apps like Maps Speedometer and Maps Speed Limits to show an overlay on Android Auto, but at this moment there doesn't seem to be any incentive at Google to do so.

We will try to fix the problem for the next release.
This app uses Accessibility services. This app will only use Accessibility services to detect the current active app, so it can show the overlay with the apps chosen by you in the configuration.

Used to be great, now no longer works on Android 12 or 13. Just force closes.
Great for traveling to see current speed in a small floating circle whilst using whatever other apps. Great app 👍
Running on OPPO A74 5G with Android 12, have to help the app start first time after boot up, no big deal, but other than that it does work, have used it for years and would hate to abandon it, great supplement to Copilot, update: Now on A13, it's now as it should be, thank you so much 🙂👍
Doesn't work under Android 12
