PerfExpert - Car Onboard Dyno & Timer allows you to measure the performances of your car, such as its real power, torque, and acceleration times. It doesn’t require any connection to your car. Results are provided as detailed reports featuring interactive charts.
How does PerfExpert Dyno works ? It's simple :
1. Create your car profile => Describe your vehicle's specifications, including curb weight, tire sizes, and engine displacement. If you're unsure about these details, we'll guide you through the process.
2. Mount your phone in your car => No need for complicated connections. Simply secure your phone in the car, and PerfExpert will utilize its internal sensors to measure accurate acceleration.
3. Accelerate through the entire engine rev range => Choose a flat, straight, and horizontal road. Accelerate from low revs to the maximum revs while maintaining the same gear. It's that simple!
IMPORTANT : dyno test is not compatible with automatic gearboxes that doesn't have a manual mode.
With such a tool, you can check the efficiency of your various tunings, ECU mapping, chiptuning, and even your chassis settings.
Using the specification of the tested car and your device’s accelerometer, the application runs our algorithms and dynamic power loss calculations to provide the performances of your car with high accuracy.

***** Features *****
- Dyno test : measure the power and torque of your engine with advanced loss calculation model. Detection of the engine rev limiter. Detailed reports featuring interactive charts of wheel and engine horsepower and torque / engine speed, just like a regular chassis dynamometer.
- Compute corrected power and torque using the correction norm of your choice (atmospheric pressure, ambient temperature and air humidity are taken into account). Available standards: DIN (Europe), SAE (America), JIS (Japan), CEE (Europe) and ISO (International).
- Timed Run test to measure your 0-60mph, 0-60ft, 0-1/8mi, 0-1/4mi, 0-100km/h, 0-20m, 0-200m, 0-400m, and much more.
- Use of your phone accelerometer at its maximum frequency and advanced signal processing for smoothed curves.
- Custom choice of units from a large choice: Hp, Ch, Cv, Kw, Nm, Ft.Lb, mKg, Mph, Km/h, m, ft, G, m/s², psi, inHg, mBar, °C, °F
- Export reports in Tab Separated Value format, PNG and as a web link on the PerfExpert Network
- Compatible with most tablets (Galaxy Tab, Nexus...) and high-resolution screen phone (Galaxy, Redmi Note, Pixel, Nexus...)
Racebox compatibility needs work.
Wildly inconsistent and inaccurate results. Hp values jump around 120 hp doing a pass at the spot under the same conditions. Phone is very secure and calibrated. All car settings completed correctly. Simply not trustworthy even as a relative gains because it's so inconsistent. EDIT: yeah you are FOR SURE wrong. All instructions were carefully followed to the t. Typical greedy behavior, won't admit flaws, probably why you don't offer a trial version of the app. You know no one will buy it then.
My car, a 2003 BMW 325i doesn't show up even though every other BMW from that year does. And when you do the Dyno you can't have an Automatic transmission. My car is automatic but you can select the gears it is in. I'm confused about what the gear minimum RPM us and the starting speed even though you start from a standstill. And my biggest confusion is: based on the formula for HP (HP=torque*rpm/5252) HP and Torque will always be the same at 5252 RPM, but the graphs never cross at 5252 RPM
Nope! After paying for the app and requesting customer support (twice which never materialized), I finally was able to download the app. I carefully followed calibration instructions, put in the gear ratios, vehicle weight including passengers, fuel level and "cargo", weather conditions, etc. Estimated 3rd and 4th gear Torque #'s were way off (much too high) for my stock BMW M240iX. Pushing to red line in higher gears should only be attempted on a closed course and there aren't any in my area.
Absolutely useless as soon as you go over 400bhp, a different result every single time... And not by 5-10bhp precisely ...
Sconsiglio.
Seriously worst dyno app I have ever tried. It is so hard to do anything on the app. Save your time and effort and do not waste money
