Mapstitch allows you to automatically merge or stitch together overlapping image scans captured from screenshots of 2D games, flatbed scanners, drones flying over a plot of land or microscopes.
The possibilities are endless, you can even use your own hands to capture overlapping images of large posters, large photos or large beautiful graffiti and stitch them together into one huge hi-res linear panorama which you can then share via Facebook, Flickr, Instagram and many more.
Features:
+Stitch a grid of overlapping images into a large hi-res image (linear panorama).
+Share your awesome linear panos with family and friends via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram and many more.
+Automatic cropping.
+Super hi-res output, up to 100 MP.
+Automatic exposure balancing.
+Many options.

How it works?
Select/capture overlapping image/screenshot/graffiti/microscope/drone scans then this app will automatically stitch them together into a large beautiful linear panorama.
Tips:
Images must be captured by keeping the camera lens in a fixed plane while linearly moving within that plane to capture an overlapping grid of images.
You don't need to capture perfectly spaced images this app is robust enough to correct for some errors.
Doesn't work such as Autostich
You app is phenomenal. It saves me from polishing merged photos (seamless edges). But there is one feature I'd like to be added. The app cannot merge diagonally panned photos properly as it seems to have restricted image resolution to work with. I had to extend the edges using Snapseed to get a workable result. With black corners? yes, but it's better than nothing.
I can't navigate & pick my 2 screenshots. I prefer filesystem hierarchy browsers, a la FX app. Mapstitch offers 3 photo-gallery browsers, and I can't find my target files. Selection doesn't stick, either. Mapstitch is kind of app I really want to work.
this application is wonderful although i would really appreciate the ability to export PNG file format lol. ^_^
Seems to only do landscape panoramics... Whereas maps require X and Y axis (portrait and landscape stitching). I created 4 screenshots (top left ' top right ' bottom left ' and bottom right). It used the height of one image and created a landscape pano with those 4 images, thus, creating a mixed puzzle of those 4 images from left to right (instead of TL ' TR ' BL ' BR). Biostitch already does that, I don't see a point to this, other than data-mining or ads.
useless
