LineLearner enables you to record scenes from plays. It then allows you to listen to the full recording which you learn your part. You can then turn off your part of the recording leaving just the other parts, and the gaps into which you say your lines.
You still have a prompt button to remind you of your lines if you forget. You can repeat individual lines, or the whole play at the touch of a button.

This use to be better. Now it's near unusable. Less than a coffee to buy yet I feel like I want my money back! Forget trying to upload 99% of pdfs. The voice pitch change is a gimmick. The menus and interface is confusing and non logical. No update bar a redevelopment from the ground up would fix this app. 2024 and it feels like it was made in the 90s.
Waste of my money. Can't even see imported document (script)
This app has been great to get off book sooner than I could imagine. Love you can adjust the play back and change character pitches. I totally recommend this app.
I have an Android and can not figure out how to use this app. When I look up videos on YouTube, it looks so easy. But the app looks like nothing that on my phone. Do not suggest for Android users.
Used it for years. Quickest way to learn lines as an actor. Lots of functionality to vary how the lines are delivered to you (speed, length of gap etc) which enable you to progress from not knowing them, through "training wheels", to being fluent. No better feeling walking on set than knowing you've done multiple line runs at speed, speaking the words aloud to another voice. Highly recommend.
The worst app ever. It is not user friendly. If you have like a month to leisurely go through all the videos. It probably won't be as bad. But this is impossible to use without heavy learning required. Just save yourself the time, headache and money and figure out another way. I could import my script but it doesn't help at all. This thing is just such a mess
A very helpful app. I use it in every play I'm in. Highly recommended.
Added ability to play/pause using button on headphones.
