Isle of Arrows is a fusion of board game and tower defense, in which you place randomly drawn tiles to build defenses on an ever-growing piece of land.
* Tile-Placement meets Tower Defense: Isle of Arrows is a unique blend of genres that adds a new strategic puzzle element to the Tower Defense formula.
* Roguelike structure: Each run is randomly generated with different tiles, enemies, rewards and events. Playing through campaigns unlocks more elements to appear in the game.
* Modes & modifiers: A variety of game modes, guilds, game modifiers, and challenges make each playthrough unique.
Gameplay
Each round, you get to place a tile on the isle for free. Spending coins allows you to skip to the next tile immediately. When you're ready, call the next enemy wave and watch your placed defenses in action.
There are 50+ tiles in Isle of Arrows:
Towers attack the invaders. Roads extend the path the enemies walk on. Flags grow the isle, giving you more space to build. Gardens reward you with coins. Taverns boost all adjacent archery towers. And so on.
Features
* 3 game Modes: Campaign, Gauntlet, Daily Defense
* 3 themed campaigns that each have their own unique set of tiles
* 70+ tiles
* 75+ bonus cards
* 10+ events that can help or hinder you
Please note that Isle of Arrows does not offer cloud save functionality for the time being.
Like the game a lot. Every round is different and random, which can make it challenging higher up. I wish there was an option for endless and maybe even to make it, so there is only one path to worry about (just for endless). Other than that, I am really enjoying the game so far
I want an expansion! Great game. Thank you
I like the overall design of it but it's definitely missing some much needed content. The rng is all over the place making challenge or achievement runs basically worthless(turns out there isn't any rng) I think they need some sort of banish system like in vampire survivors and it all together just needs more/new content I feel the developers are totally relying on the daily challenge to keep folks engaged but it just doesn't do it for me considering they're all about the same, little variation
Please release a creative mode I'd love to play around to get the best possible path
This reminds me of an old android TD game where each level was a big empty square. It gave you a bunch of tiles and towers to experiment with how best to beat each mission. Rare to see a good tower defense game that lets you choose the whole layout. My only real issue so far is optimization. I've got a Pixel 7 Pro and the lowest settings are still draining my battery and sometimes overheating my phone to the point that it lags. I've experienced the worst of this on the tutorial mission.
Good game, has potential but the randomness of everything and not having a placeholder slot is annoying. You can spend an hour trying to do a level just to fail because of randomness. Kinda makes putting any thought into the strategy kinda pointless. Shame really because I do enjoy playing it, it's just so frustrating losing every level right at the last second because you cant save a tower or two for later. This definitely should be a feature that you unlock as you go and the levels get harder.
too luck based
