absolute nightmare to try to get an account through dod mwr library. Can't find that library in their drop down of a million libraries. I'm sure DOD is to blame, but press reader, really? Gave up on it.
Free! For a week and then thick end of £30
App often faultering as if the app forgets Library subscription. This happens regularly.
Oddly, my previous review disappeared, which was about the inability to take a screenshot for something as benign as a cross word puzzle when having a library card providing access to the actual physical copies. Now, to add to that, some publications can't even be read, although again, part of my library subscription. Claiming to be unable to download at high resolution, it actually only shows unreadable small previous and actual readable content isn't available.
UK user. Unable to use my library card to access local news. Support emails have been a very negative experience - being ignored and not actually answering my questions. Jargon filled emails. Seems to be an emphasis on making sure I'm signed up to hotspots which doesn't interest me. UPDATE: email support, out of nowhere, are now saying it's an issue with my library, absolute joke!
excellent when working.Every few months I,m told I have exceeded devices (I haven,t but after failing to get promisede phones calls to sort I deauthourise a tablet- no effect-still requested to buy each issue of local paper
Unable to download publications with sponsored access from my Library, used to work but recently had to link and unlink my account, now even that is not working. EDIT: After contacting support, I was informed that Hotspot Access was required to be enabled in settings - this appears to resolve the issue.
Thank you for using PressReader. This update contains bug fixes and performance improvements.
