As the Merchant, you are the commander of your own domain!
Blending together traditional RPG systems, management mechanics, and a fantasy overworld, Merchant aims to reimagine the traditional mobile RPG. In Merchant, players take the role of a shopkeeper who must manage a team of Heroes and Crafters. Heroes are sent out on quests in order to fight enemies and gather materials. Crafters then use those materials to create weapons and armor. As the shopkeeper, players must balance their micro-economies between selling items for gold and crafting items to better ensure success for the Heroes.

Played this game a lot, and though it's actually pretty fun for the first 20 character levels, it bogs down hard. The drag kicks in and becomes and endless resource grinder to level up crafters while always having under-equiped toons slogging the first 3 zones. Every zone is just a rename/reskin of pretty much identical checkbox baddies and arbitrary rare loot. The achieves and certain glitched unlocks require social media or cloud/cross platforming. No. Lather, grind, rinse, grind, repeat.
Fun, like actually fun, I personally suck at the game, but it's still really really fun.
High-quality game, no complaints whatsoever. Fun and addictive, and most importantly, there are zero forced advertisements.
Glad I found this again, why is it so hard lately to find older games in the playstore? 5 stars for you maybe it'll help bump the game up higher. Players: Tap weapons/armor/item icons for info & possable upgrades. Achievemens in wrench icon top right corner. Please fix the rendering the game looks stretched out on newer phones.
No AD breaks. Nice pixel art. Very addicting. :)

Great offline game. Can be played casually or strategically. Good game to play between breaks at work or school.
