Worse dating application by far
I recently joined match perhaps about two weeks ago on a Friday. I was delighted by how fast I was getting notifications on my account about possible people who liked me. I truly had hope, but that fell apart after the weekend when I got a notification access to my account had been blocked. Thinking this was an error which could happen to anyone, I messaged customer service, which was extremely polite and responded quickly. They let me know they would get back to me. It took about two more days for me to send a follow up email when I received nothing, only to check my email today and effectively be told, my account was deleted, customer service couldn’t tell me why it was deleted due to terms of use, and any attempts at making a new account would end with the account being deleted again. I could accept this if I knew any one rule I violated. I had not matched, or even messaged one person that I can recall the entirety of the time I used the app. I heard great things, so I expected great things. Please do not use this app; I do not know how it was in the past, but now I can without a doubt say, the experience is no longer the same.

I’ve canceled my membership twice now and they have renew my membership twice without my permission. They have no customer support team anymore. It’s all automated and I can’t get them to give me an answer. They had me email them and said I’ll be hearing something back in 24-48 hours. But haven’t heard anything back on that for 2 weeks now. They are crooks!

You cannot do essentially anything with this app unless you are ready to spend a few hundred per year. Customer service takes forever and doesn’t solve problems. Terrible app.

What is the point of passing for premium if you can’t do anything in the app if you haven’t spent the $149 for the platinum? What in the actual theft is this? Can’t send messages, can’t view likes, can’t do anything other than upgrade to the platinum subscription. How desperate area you guys for money that you literally rob your clients just to make a buck?
