What the heck?!
This app is okay but you have to pay for stuff. And some you don’t even need to buy. Also the biggest thing I hate about video leap is that you have to pay to remove the watermark. I will say it is good but it’s not at the same time.

Bought this app March 2024. 90$ for a year. Awesome. Loved it. Then they decide to watermark EVERY SINGLE VIDEO you make, May 2024, and if you want it removed, pay TEN BUCKS per template or deal with the water mark. It doesn’t show up till you download to your camera roll. They have ZERO free templates so what’s the point if you want to make reels. Super disappointed. Awesome templates but be prepared to fork over more money for every template unless you don’t mind a 5 second advertisement coming across your reel promoting them and the maker of the reel.

May 2022 I tried this app to create TikTok videos. The app wasn’t difficult to use, I just wasn’t overly impressed, and I decided I didn’t want to create content for Tiktok. I uninstalled, canceled the trial through Apple, and thought I was good. Until the next year when, without warning, I was billed. I went back to the cancellation of the trial, and couldn’t find a cancellation on file. Swallowing my pride canceled the billing access on PayPal. I had no active subscriptions or payments through PayPal or Apple services. Until May 13th 2024 when I was billed…again without warning. I. Was. Furious! I emailed the company telling them to stop stealing my money! I appealed to PayPal for allowing the transaction despite me having no active billing permissions. I sent PayPal all that I had, but they sided with the company stating that the payment was “valid”. The company emailed me back saying that “because I disputed the charge there is nothing they can do.” WHAT? I VERIFIED Paypal DENYING my claim, siding with them, and they again said there’s nothing they can do, and to take it up with the financial services…IE Paypal. 😡 Unless you want to take the risk of this happening to you, and you do NOT want to give up your money year after year without benefitting from the product, proceed with great caution. You’re better off using software you can purchase and own completely without reoccurring costs.

If you leave the program for just a second and try to get back to it, it completely crashes, it’s gotten worse and worse with each of the last updates now it won’t even boot up at all this problem started with their last update. I’m really sorry I bought this program what a waste of money. Can’t even use the program it won’t run.

I’ve used this app’s premium features for years, the app just crashed during export and now I can’t open the project, it just sits there loading forever. Please help me with this as I’ve spent hundreds using this app for my videos over the years!!!
