BeReal was my favorite social media platform, and until a few weeks ago, I had a 300+ day streak. Lately however, the app has been glitchy all the time. My BeReals hardly ever upload properly and take forever to get posted, no matter how strong my internet connection is. If I have even the slightest of network issues, then it’s game over for trying to get a BeReal posted smoothly. It’s resulted in me missing several days and ruining my streak. The camera feature is also buggy, and it’s been taking way longer for it to capture images on either side. Loved this app, but the tech issues are really breaking my heart. I’d rather you just simplify and go back to the basics and have a working app, rather than trying to release all these new features that fill the rest of the app with buggy software

BeReal gives us 2 minutes to post, but the notification shows up late a lot so the 2 minutes they give us is gone. The app would be fun if they switched something up there.

It took a lot of convincing to get this app, and trust me it was worth it! It is like a beginners social media. So if you don’t want your child to have social media yet, then this is an awesome starter. Basically, The app will send you a notification, and you have 2 minutes to post. If you don’t post in 2 minutes, it’ll be considered late, but it’s okay! One thing i don’t like is that it doesn’t really let you post if you’ve been a late poster. It can send you a notification if your already asleep, or at school. But you can always turn do not disturb mode on your phone. It’s is a 2 sided picture mode. You take a picture of what your doing, then a picture of you. you can always just take a picture of your shoulder if your not comfortable posting your face. There is a setting that allows you to post to friends only, I really like that. Overall this is a really great app, highly recommend!
