Not that great
My main complaint is that you need a keyboard to be able to edit with this on the iPad. If I wanted to edit a video with a keyboard then I’d use my MacBook Pro. I want to be able to do everything with touchscreen like I can with LumaFusion. For this reason and the $5 a month fee I don’t Recommend Final Cut for iPad. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and use LumaFusion. Much more intuitive
Needs External Drive Support
My use for FCP is limited on the iPad as long as I am required to work from my local hard drive. Please offer external drive support like the desktop version, and import of desktop projects!
Great App But One Thing Is Annoying….
I’ve been able to render my long form content for my channel since I got the app earlier this year with my new iPad Pro and it’s been great for the most part. The problem I have is when it’s done rendering a window pops up and asks where you want to save the file but god forbid I tap anywhere but in that box even it will close the box and force me to render the video again. It’s takes 2+ hours for the it to render my video and when that happens it ends up taking up the storage in the iPad meaning if I tell the app to render the video again thinking it will use my previous data it won’t and will use up the space that you current have and when that is done it won’t save at all due to the lack of space. So now I need to delete the app to free up the space and edit my whole video again because when I delete the old projects it won’t ever clear that space. So please can you maybe just not allow the surrounding area to be able to be tapped and close the box and maybe have the cancel button be the only way to close the box that would save me and probably others a lot of trouble.
Subscription based?!?!
Look, the only reason I go with Apple over PC is because of the application integration and the fact that their software is not subscription based. This is really going to make me re-think My purchases going forward. The primary reason I don't mind paying the outrageous pricing for Apple products was the nature of the one time fee for apps… If that is done Apple has no value beyond being just overpriced for the logo.
Needs to be more consistent with FCP on the mac
Needs to conform to the basics of FCP on the mac. Some things obviously needed to change to take advantage of touch, but others seem needlessly changed and inconsistent.
Reverse
Can someone explain me how can I made reverse video?? I had to go to free splice to make reversed video . So I pay 5 bucks and not able to make reverse on PRO program ???🤧
Good enough as a supplement
I think the app is awesome and makes for a great mobile studio. I just hate the lack of custom lut support. If they add that I have no complaints.
