Pokomon updates
I started with pokomon to play with my grandson. It’s been a couple of years now. For the past 6 months or so, I have had to update e very couple of weeks, but no one else does. Please explain. I have I phone 13 just like my wife and she doesn’t have to update

I love Pokémon go. I got to level 32 or 34. Unfortunately, my gmail account was hacked…A LOT!!!! I lost all my progress. After getting that far, I don’t want to start all over, so be careful if you use your gmail to sign in just in case it gets hacked by greedy, selfish, and mean people. That was a big let down, but that’s life. I miss playing Pokémon go but it’s definitely a great game. OneLove.

Needless to say, when the game first launched it was almost an addiction. The closest we could ever get to a real-life Pokémon experience without Virtual Reality innovations. I for one, didn’t mind that it was only restricted to the Kanto region but my first issue, along with thousands of others was the banning of 3rd party location spotter without a competent replacement by Niantic. Followed by more Niantic greed in the form of limiting pokedollar rewards to a measly 50 per day… So if all your gym defender mons get returned to you within the same 24 hours, your just out of luck! Enjoy your 50 pokecents! Not to mention how horribly they handled the remote battle pass distribution post Covid Years later, and we have the most egregious overreach in the form of hijacking, yes hijacking the games aesthetic. The original trainer design that we all loved and were accustom to? All gone, all in the name of “inclusivity” and the holy lgbt+++ having them look “More like you!!” As if it wasn’t insulting enough. I would love to get into detail on this but sensitive eyes will likely read this and take the entire review down Anyway I finally deleted the app, it was kind numbing fun at the best of times but honestly it’s simply become to rough of a ride ✌🏾

As a long-time fan of the Pokémon franchise, I had high hopes for Pokémon Go, but my experience has been deeply disappointing. The game is plagued by numerous issues that severely detract from its potential enjoyment. Firstly, the constant server issues and glitches make the game nearly unplayable at times. It's incredibly frustrating to invest time and effort into a game only to be met with frequent crashes and connectivity problems, especially during special events when these issues seem to peak. Additionally, the game’s emphasis on microtransactions feels exploitative. While I understand the need for in-game purchases, the balance is skewed heavily towards pay-to-win, making it difficult for casual or non-paying players to compete or progress at a reasonable pace. The lack of variety in Pokémon spawns and the repetitive nature of tasks also quickly turn the game into a monotonous grind. Despite promises of new features and updates, the core gameplay has seen little meaningful improvement, leaving it stale and unengaging. Lastly, the community and social aspects, which could be a major draw, are hampered by poorly designed features and a lack of real interaction opportunities. Niantic's slow response to player feedback further exacerbates these issues, leaving many concerns unaddressed for far too long. Overall, Pokémon Go feels like a missed opportunity that fails to live up to the legacy of the Pokémon series. Until significant improvements are made, it remains a frustrating and underwhelming experience.
