New to the game
Actually really enjoying myself playing, super easy to learn how to play and I was happy I started with the app before I stated to buy cards to help better understand how the game is played. Now it will get the extra star once they add commander gameplay in this!!!!

Rigged play, the game is not playable for long. Drawing is not realistic and stacked against you. You are playing against your opponent as well as the program. Need certain cards later in the game? Prepare to draw them early. No cards in hand? Prepare to draw many lands. Struggle against certain decks? Prepare to face them often. Win a few games? Prepare for a long losing streak. Not only drawing, but matchups are rigged. Related comments on customer service page were consolidated into one big comment. Agree with another review which said the themes are becoming woke.... Notes about the community: some use the communication feature to display goodwill, but others use it in a sarcastic, self aggrandizing way. They also: 1) use the timer to make you wait when it's apparent they are about to lose, 2) form decks they wouldn't otherwise play to oppose your deck if they can't otherwise win, and 3) copy decks found on the internet, which is why you often see the same ten or so decks. To summarize, a lot of bad behavior and lack of originality.

Players are abusing how long the timers take. They are using a strategy where they will wait out the timer until the very last moment before playing a card. They do it so the opponent leaves. The game is meant to be played at instant speed, please shorten the timers.

Was obsessed with this game, mostly because it’s hard to find people who play physical anymore. That being said the app has always been buggy which led to me deleting it and now it’s so huge even deleting all unnecessary apps from my phone is not enough to get into it. How hard is it to push a compressed download? It’s ridiculous to need to buy a whole new device just to play one app.

You’ll see the same card combos over and over and over again. Try to play with a friend or you’ll get bored very quickly with all the carbon copy decks.

There’s a huge problem with the mana lands, people and me have been getting mana screwed a lot even when half are decks are made up mana land cards and add a lot more bot decks to test decks on because it’s hard to that when playing against people because people are playing OP decks all the time. But other than that game is fine.
