I only downloaded this so I could write this review. Shame on you developers for using the suffering of women and children for games! Ads for this game came across another game I play and I find them highly offensive to women and children. Shame on you!!

I honestly enjoyed the game but as you level up, you don’t get free energies anymore and the items just get harder. And it takes forever to get energies. Takes me up to days to get a bagel done

I downloaded this game to rate it, because I have been fed ads for it over and over and over and over (and over and over and over) while playing Wordle. Gossip Manor’s ads are THE most toxic, depressing ads in the world!! Not only are they ridiculously long, but they have several “tricks” where it shows the timer is up on the ad but it still holds you for additional time before allowing you to get out of it, along with loop tricks where it shows an “x” to close it but it takes you to the store instead. If the ad’s contents weren’t disturbing enough to make me avoid the game, the tricks this company employs to take more precious time away from people would be. Terrible ethics all around.

I’m really liking this game. I like that there aren’t a ton of ads like some games go crazy with. However, I think if the game added giving energy as a reward with leveling up and on new days, it would make the game way more enjoyable. Sometimes it takes so much energy to make the items to complete one order, so you have to wait forever to gain more energy and make more coins. Would be nice if energy replenishes were added as a level up/new day reward!

In the beginning, gaining energy and gems was easy. I thought too easy, and as the game progressed, those gains are harder to achieve. I’m having fun with decorating the sets, especially after learning you can hold your finger on a chosen item and have the ability to change it. I will pay for the VIP Pass because you get nice rewards. I have never reached the end, though. I lost my head and spent a bit of money to win an event. I was on the last segment with almost 2 days to go, but suddenly the accrual of points (coming at a slow but steady pace) just stopped, then picked up again when there was 6 hours left to go….not enough time to begin to win. I learned that I will stick to the occasional VIP Pass. The waste of money hurt, and I won’t do that ever again. Otherwise, I like this game. It becomes slow over time because it’s harder to fill orders, but it’s interesting to see the silly story unfold and decorate this little world.
