The Restaurant365 (R365) mobile app makes it easy for restaurant employees to see their schedule, request shift changes, request time off, view their time punches, and securely communicate with other employees. Managers can make logbook entries, respond to all employee scheduling requests, count inventory, and manage accounts payable (AP) tasks. If your restaurant uses the Restaurant365 platform, the R365 app is the best way to accomplish your tasks on a mobile device. Download the Restaurant365 app now!
Worst App
I wish I could give this app a glowing review, but unfortunately, it has proven to be more of a hindrance than a help. Our experience with this app has been overwhelmingly negative, affecting both management and employees in significant ways. **Inefficiency and Unreliability** From the outset, the app has been plagued with inefficiencies. What should be straightforward tasks, such as scheduling and communication, are complicated by the app's clunky and unintuitive interface. Frequent crashes and slow load times mean that employees often waste precious time just trying to log in or access their schedules. The app’s unreliability is further evidenced by its tendency to randomly log users out, often during critical moments, causing frustration and workflow interruptions. **Complicates Management Tasks** For management, the app has been nothing short of a nightmare. Tasks that should streamline operations, like monitoring employee hours or generating reports, are cumbersome and error-prone. Data inconsistencies are common, forcing managers to spend additional time cross-referencing information to ensure accuracy. Instead of providing clarity, the app often leaves us with more questions and additional manual work. **Employee Frustration** Our employees have voiced numerous complaints about the app's user experience. The overly complicated navigation makes it difficult for them to find the information they need quickly. Many have reported issues with the app failing to save changes, meaning they often have to redo tasks multiple times. This has led to decreased morale and a significant drop in productivity. **Abysmal Customer Service** If the app’s performance is bad, its customer service is even worse. Reaching out for support is an exercise in futility. Responses are slow, often taking days, and when they do come, they are typically unhelpful and dismissive. There is a clear lack of understanding and urgency in addressing critical issues, leaving us to fend for ourselves most of the time. The support team’s inability to provide timely and effective solutions has only compounded our frustrations. In summary, this app has failed to deliver on its promises, creating more problems than it solves. Its inefficiency and unreliability have disrupted our operations, complicated management tasks, and frustrated our employees. Coupled with the abysmal customer service, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a more reliable and user-friendly solution. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this app.
Best Work Related App I’ve Ever Used.
Honestly, such an easy way to see and change my schedule. Super convenient all in one.
Garbage app for servers
My company switched from HotSchedules to Restaurant365. The explanation I got was this is superior to HotSchedules. Because it puts all of our inventory and scheduling in one place. However, this app did not think of servers and how they operate at all. 1. Not Google Calendar or ICal friendly It does not load your schedule into your calendar of choice. You have to go to the app to find out if you are scheduled or to make any changes to your schedule. 2. Messaging fellow servers for covering shifts is ridiculous. I don’t know how you could screw this up. Whether you’re on iOS or android it is obvious that when you have a text stream with anyone the last message that you texted or received is basically at the top of the list or right in front of you when you look at that text stream. This is not how this app works. You have to scroll all the way down in a message. Feed to find the newest message. 3. It is cumbersome to navigate. This system feels like a primitive app. Like it came out in 2011. The best part of other apps for restaurants is that you could access it on all your devices. I could not find a way to use it on my laptop or Apple Watch. Bottom line, if you are a restaurant, considering using this, it will not make your life easier when it comes to scheduling or communicating with your staff.
Not trans friendly
There is literally no way to prevent my co workers from seeing my birth name. This isn’t necessary. I even contacted r365 myself; they said ‘there’s a place for your manager to put your preferred name in’. I sat with him when he tried to. The only way to change my first name in there, is to change it on payroll. Boo
It’s great
I am an employee and restaurant 365 is very user-friendly. I love it so much makes it super easy for scheduling, time off, and availability.
Hate it
I would literally rather use ANYTHING else. Buggy and confusing. I would rather have hot schedules back.
